The place had a charming, old-school feel and a reputation for homey, satisfying meals. We could instantly tell it had been part of Denver’s story for a long time. Over plates of hot, delicious breakfast — the kind that tastes like someone’s grandma made it — we kicked off our trip with full bellies and happy hearts.
